Event Registration

Designed for students who have taken Conversation 1 and 2 or the equivalent. Students should have a good understanding of basic grammar and be able to speak in the present, past and future tenses. For the winter of 2024, the class will read and discuss the novel Cien años de soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude) by Gabriel García Márquez. During the class, students will take turns reading selected passages from the novel, identifying new words and phrases used in the passage, and discussing the theme and meaning of the passage. The class will be facilitated by Gabriel Andrade, a professor from Aguascalientes and long-time facilitator with Let’s Speak Spanish. NOTE: In addition to registering for the class, students must purchase a copy of the book, which is available from Amazon, either in Kindle or paperback. Please also note that this class is a second session, which will we start at 5:15 PM following the first session. Class size is limited to 4 students.
