This annual event at the Sahuarita Desert Diamond Casino features a keynote speaker, conversations with former BCA interns, and a breakfast buffet. All proceeds directly fund BCA's Summer 2026 internship program for college-age students.
The buffet opens at 8am and the program will begin at 8:45am. Tickets are $50 per person, with tables (up to 8 people) for $500.
Our keynote speaker Elizabeth Shakman Hurd is Professor of Religious Studies and Political Science at Northwestern University where she chairs the Department of Religious Studies. Professor Hurd is best known for her work at the intersections of religion and politics, including U.S. foreign and immigration policy and history, American borders and borderlessness, the global politics of secularism and religious freedom, and US actions in and representations of the Middle East and North Africa.
